Disability-Inclusive Therapy

I offer specialized support for individuals living with disabilities. I understand the psychological, emotional, and social challenges that can arise from navigating a world that isn’t always designed with accessibility in mind.

I offer specialized support for individuals living with disabilities. I understand the psychological, emotional, and social challenges that can arise from navigating a world that isn’t always designed with accessibility in mind. My personal experience with disability gives me a unique perspective, allowing me to create a therapy environment that is both understanding and affirming. This work goes beyond addressing mental health concerns; it includes fostering a sense of empowerment and self-acceptance in a society that often devalues those with disabilities.

Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I help clients build emotional resilience and address the barriers—both internal and external—that they face. My approach supports disability-identity development, providing tools for clients to recognize their strengths and work towards greater independence and self-confidence. The therapy I offer is not just about managing the challenges but about empowering clients to live fulfilling lives, embracing their capabilities and navigating life on their own terms.
