Grief and Loss

Grief is a natural response to loss, but it can be hard to navigate alone. I offer support and guidance to help you process your emotions, find meaning, and heal at your own pace.

Grief is a deeply personal experience, and I approach it with the sensitivity it deserves. Whether stemming from the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or even a major life transition, grief can feel overwhelming and all-consuming. In my practice, I aim to help clients understand that grief is not something to ‘get over’ but to learn to live with. Together, we navigate the complicated emotions of loss—sadness, anger, confusion, or even guilt—while finding ways to honor and remember what has been lost.

I incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) to help clients rebuild their lives after loss. This approach includes fostering emotional processing, exploring the personal meanings behind the loss, and finding a path forward that includes space for both grief and growth. Clients are empowered to understand that while grief may never fully go away, they can find ways to coexist with it and continue to live meaningful, fulfilling lives.
