My trauma-informed approach is grounded in creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can process their experiences without fear of judgment or re-traumatization. I recognize that trauma can take many forms, whether from acute incidents, chronic abuse, systemic oppression, or other life-altering events. My goal is to help clients understand how trauma affects both the mind and body and to develop practical strategies for healing. I guide clients through identifying and addressing trauma’s impact on their emotional regulation, self-concept, and relationships.
Utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I work to empower clients to reclaim their narratives and regain control over their lives. Healing from trauma involves learning how to coexist with difficult memories rather than being controlled by them. This process allows clients to rebuild trust, establish safety within themselves, and move forward with a renewed sense of strength and resilience.
